Daniel Mauro’s background spans many fields including music, mathematics, cognitive science, and electronic engineering technology. Combining his passion for music and science with a keen interest in the workings of the human brain, Daniel has been exploring the scientific underpinnings of sound healing for 10 years. Daniel has studied with world-renowned sound pioneers Tom Kenyon, Debbie Danbrook and Don Campbell and teaches workshops on “the musical brain.” Seeking to decipher the connection between different sound-musical genres and dynamic brain responses, Daniel is currently pursuing graduate research on the effects of rhythmic stimuli on cognitive task performance.
