Daniel Mauro

Combining his passion for music and science with a keen interest in the workings of the human brain, Daniel Mauro has been investigating the scientific underpinnings of sound healing for more than a decade. He has developed a model of the brain that links sound therapies, musical principles and basic neural functioning and has presented original papers at several International Cognitive Science conferences. Considered the leading expert (in the National Capital Region) on the Science of Musical Medicine, Daniel teaches a cutting edge multi-module program on music, mind and brain entitled “Exploring Your Musical Brain.”
